When is Wednesday Season 2 coming out

Wednesday Season 2

Here is everything we currently know about Wednesday Season 2 cast, storyline, and
other specifics because it seems like everyone wants to watch it.

When Wednesday first premiered on Netflix, almost everyone fell in love with it.
A girl named Wednesday Addams attempts to develop her psychic abilities through the
show while also trying to stop her crush from killing people and solve a mystery involving
her parents. Isn’t that too much for a little girl? Everyone was impressed by Jenna Ortega’s
acting abilities on Wednesday, and the audience couldn’t get enough of her. The second season
of the show has finally been announced by Netflix; read more below.

Wednesday Season 2 trailer: Is there a trailer?

There is no trailer or footage of the second season of Wednesday because filming hasn’t begun.

However, the season one trailer is excellent, so feel free to view that in its place:

Wednesday Season 2: Is there a release date?

According to the production schedule mentioned above, Season 2 will earliest be
released in mid-to-late 2024.

Since last year’s $8.5 billion merger between Amazon Prime and MGM, which could
have potentially moved the rights to Wednesday away from Netflix, there had been
some initial uncertainty about which streaming service would host the second season.

The show would still be available on Netflix, according to a report from
indiwire.

Wednesday Season 2 cast: Who is starring in the next season?

Although there is no official cast list for Wednesday Season 2,
we can probably expect to see these faces again:

Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams
Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams
Luis Guzmán as Gomez Addams
Isaac Ordonez as Pugsley Addams
Fred Armisen as Uncle Fester
Jamie McShane as Sheriff Donovan Galpin
Percy Hynes White as Xavier Thorpe
Riki Lindhome as Dr. Valeria Kinbott
Georgie Farmer as Ajax Petropolus
Naomi J. Ogawa as Yoko Tanaka
Moosa Mostafa as Eugene Otinger
Victor Dorobantu as Thing
George Burcea as Lurch
Hunter Doohan as Tyler Galpin
Joy Sunday as Bianca Barclay
Emma Myers as Enid Sinclair

Whether or not we will see Marylin Thornhill (Christina Ricci) again will depend
on the Season 2 storyline. Plus, at Nevermore, passing away might not be the end,
so Larissa Weems (Gwendoline Christie) might also come back.

A new character is also planned for Season 2, though little is known about who it will be.
The actors for the show talked about fan theories for Season 2, including new cast members,
as part of the Netflix TUDUM event.

Wednesday Season 2 plot: What will happen next season?

There isn’t an official plot for Wednesday Season 2 yet, but there is
still a lot of unfinished business from Season 1 that could be resolved in upcoming episodes.

First, there is Wednesday’s stalker’s personality. A lot of people think it’s Xavier,
but it could also be someone else.

Tyler could pose a problem for Wednesday because the series ended with him evolving
into Hyde. He might even try helping Marylin Thornhill in making her comeback.

After Larissa Weems’ passing, Nevermore requires a new principal—possibly in the
person of Gomez or Morticia?—and may also require additional students.
Pugsley might even enrol at some point, who knows?

The second season will focus more on horror and less on romance, according to star Ortega
in a recent video with Variety: We’ve made the decision to focus more on the show’s horror
elements. You shouldn’t take yourself too seriously while watching a show like this with vampires,
werewolves, and superpowers because it is so lighthearted. Additionally, Wednesday will be free
of any romantic interest, which is fantastic.
