‘Salaar’ box office collection day 4: Prabhas’ film crosses Rs 250 crore in India on Christmas

Salaar Box Office Collection Day 4: Part One-Ceasefire, starring Parbhas, is bringing in a lot of money at the box office after its release ahead of a long weekend. The Christmas season boosted its sales, and the New Year’s holiday is predicted to do even more for it at the box office.

Within four days of its release, Salaar made ₹254.87 crores in net revenue at the Indian box office, according to reports from industry tracker Sacnilk. According to early estimates, the movie made ₹45.77 crore net on its fourth day in theatres, which happened to be Christmas.

The movie brought in ₹90.7 crore net on its opening day at the Indian Box Office. During its opening weekend, the movie brought in ₹118.4 crore (net). In just three days after its debut, the movie has made ₹402 crore worldwide, according to a post by the film’s creators on social media site X.

Telugu cinema superstar Prabhas enjoys immense popularity, and the film did quite well in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana prior to its release. The movie’s cinema rights were sold for roughly ₹165 crore in the two Telugu states, according to a report in Track Tollywood. This amount is the second-highest ever after SS Rajamouli’s “RRR.”

Furthermore, the action-drama movie became the third in AP-TG history to be sold for more than ₹150 crore, with “Baahubali 2” and “RRR” occupying the top two slots. Salaar has turned lucrative for its producers after breaking even at ₹200 crore and becoming a box office success.

The movie, which is being produced by Hombale Films, was originally supposed to hit theaters on September 28 but was rescheduled for December 22. In addition to Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruthi Haasan, and Madhu Guruswamy in important parts, the film is produced by Vijay Kiragandur. There are fourteen enormous sets in and around Ramoji Film City for the movie.
