Fun Facts About Jane Breaking Bad

Jane Margolis is a tattoo artist who is Jesse Pinkman’s girlfriend, landlord, and neighbour. In addition, she is the daughter of air traffic controller Donald Margolis and is in recovery from drug addiction.

Jane is revealed to be a bright, kind, and devoted young woman who also happens to be a talented and imaginative artist and a kind person overall. Jane’s life has not been simple because of severe parental intervention stemming from drug addiction, just like that of her eventual boyfriend Jesse Pinkman. She was able to kick her addiction, though, and at first it seemed like she really wanted to be sober.

Jane is shown to be somewhat egotistical as well and openly reveals that she hates being judged all the time, mainly by her father and can also be somewhat ignorant as she at first believed she did nothing wrong when she pretended not to be dating Jesse even though his feelings were crushed though she later apologized, showing that she is capable of realizing her mistakes.

Even though Jane adores her strict but loving father Donald, it is clear that she sometimes fears or finds him annoying. This is demonstrated when Jesse introduces himself to Donald and Jane acts as though she doesn’t know him at all in order to deflect criticism and questions because she knows that Donald would not approve of her dating a drug addict. Later on, she made every effort to lie to her father in order to keep him from learning about her drug relapse.

Jane does appear to be astute, since she immediately discovers that Jesse is involved in the meth trade after he pays his rent in cash and receives a call from someone he knows using a name other than the one he gave her.
