Vince Gilligan is the creator of the American criminal drama television series Breaking Bad. The American Movie Classics (AMC) television network broadcast it from 2008 to 2013. The phrase “to raise hell” in the title is a Southern vernacular. For many members of the cast, including lead actor Bryan Cranston, the program was a critical and popular hit and their breakthrough role.

To ensure his family’s financial future before he passes away, Walt turns to a life of crime and teams up with a former classmate, Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul), to manufacture and sell crystal meth while dodging the perils of the criminal underground.
